World Wars

In this exhibit, political cartoons providing commentary on World War I and World War II are displayed. These 26 cartoons discuss events on both the homefront and overseas, ranging from issues facing the League of Nations to Pearl Harbor, to a revolt in Romania. The commentary provided by these cartoons give us a glimpse at not only how the war was perceived by the media, but what details Americans at this time were most concerned with.
