Title

Kerensky: Of the People, By the people, For the People

Description

Krensky: By the people, of the people, for the people. Such a title certainly seems to reflect a democratic government. Aleksandr Feodorovich Kerensky was a Russian revolutionary who helped overthrow the Russian czarist regime in 1917. Kerensky served as premier of the newly formed republic. The republic was short lived however, and by the end of the year the government had been overthrown by Bolshevik revolutionaries. In this image Kerensky is portrayed as the archetype of strength and courage. This is interesting to note as the overwhelming tendency of material that is written on him describes him as feeble, weak, and a moderate.
