All in the same Boat

Title
All in the same Boat
Description
Under FDR the government began to instate many policies to centralize and increase the control that was held over many of industries. Keynesian economics argued that people would need to accept an increase of government regimentation as consumers, farmers, businesses and industries in order for the economy to make improvements. The image below however illustrates the opinion held by many that Keynesian economics would not bring the United States out of the Depression. The artist below has illustrated the opinion that increased regimentation would prevent individuals in the economic sector from achieving prosperity.
